The Radio Thing

Okay, so, I have beeen broadcasting for about 10 yrs now with the myth that, well, isn't actually a myth after all, if you get my meanning. The 'myth' I am actually refering to is Hospital Radio, thats right, hospital radio. Currently I present not 1, but 2 shows a week, the programme controller likes me that much he asked me to present another show and I did. I chose hospital radio as it is a good starting ground, and sometimes finishing ground, for working within the industry. So for the past 10 years I have tried and failed to secure a full-time contract within the industry. I have however had a couple of shorter smaller jobs within radio working as a freelance broadcaster. I have interviewed a couple of bands over the years, nothing major, but I believe they might be one day.

So now at the moment I am keeping the radio thing a hobby and concentating on other career asperations like trainning to become a teacher. I have just completed my GCSE in English Re-take and got a B-grade in that, so I am on my way now. Its all uphill from here on.
