Wrestling Spoiler

So what exactly has been going on in the world today? I came back to my folks place a couple of days ago. Its been fun, soon I shall be back at mine and life will get back to normal. My hand is still in a sling, still no autographs yet though, oh well, time to make them up!!

Incase Mr Gervais should read my blog, considering how much time he has and all, I would personally like to appologise for ever doubting the fact you are a funny man, when I first saw Extras, I thought this is not worth watching and since then have avoided the programme. Until today, I was sat with my hand in a sling watching tv and noticed I recorded the wrong programme, so I sat and watched the first episode of the new series of Extras and was plesently surprised, what have I been missing? So Nick was right and I was wrong, however, I was still riht in saying that Chelsea would beat his team Liverpool, what you actually think I am going to put a link to their website? No chance in hell, talking of no chance in hell, Nick, you might want to skip the next paragraph as it is about my favourite sport, Wrestling.

Yesterday, the WWE held Unforgiven and as I predicted the Mcmahons and Big Show would have no chance in hell of beating D-Generation X in a handicap match. The whole PPV was brilliant and if any exceptions should be made to that statement, I can think of only one. Jeff Hardy should have won his match. There you go Nick, I even mentioned your favourite wrestler, thats if you read this paragraph after all. If your not reading this paragraph Nicck, your a backstabbing twat for dissing the WWE!!!!

Hey Nick, this is where you can start reading from!!! Well thats all I got to talk about for this blog, but if I think of anything else then I will blog it if its good enough to blog. Hopefully get a few clips of audio from my broadcasts on this weblog thinggie tomorrow, then you will be able to hear some of my audio masterpieces, okay audio, just audio.

To sum up this blog, three things that are great.

1. Ricky Gervais and Extras
2. Chelsea and their win over Liverpool 1-0
3. Wrestling and the WWE

Yesterday

How foolish did I feel yesterday. In the morning I did my usual routime of getting up, washing and having breakfast. I then went to catch my bus to work, make that 2 buses, 1 into town so that I can then catch 1 straight to work. So I had managed to catch 1 bus into town just fine but when I got off my day would go from farily good to really bad.

As I looked at my watch, I noticed my bus was due at the bus stop just down the road opposite the bus station. So I ran like fury. This morning was slightly different as I was carrying an extra bag this morning, as I would be going to stay at my parents for the night. As I looked around it looked like it was ok to cross but just as I made my attempt to do so, a car came from around the corner so I continued running down the pavement.

Then suddenly, I lost control of my footing as my foot feel off the pavement and everything started slowing down. I could see myself falling in slow motion and there was nothing I could do other than think 'shit, this is going to hurt'. I feel to the ground with a thud and the ground was coming closer towards me. I manahed to get my hands out to stop myslef being hurt only I landed really awkwardly on my left hand.

A girl came rushing over and asked if I was ok, as I looked around I saw straight past her another bus was coming. Luckily for me it wasn't mine. I caught my breath and picked myself up and told the girl I was fine. All I wanted to do was catch that damm bus to work and eventually I did. Once I was on the bus, the pain started to kick in, I had landed on my ankle and that was painful, I grazzed my knee and my left hand felt painfull. Just a bit of pain, that will subside in a couple of hours. When I got to work, I noticed that I had mild shock after my fall and saw a first-aider at work. He told me I would be fine and to go and make myself a cup of tea. So I did, only the shock I had, made me shake and lose control of the cup. I couldn't hold the cup without shaking and the contents wasted onto the table.

I managed to pull myself together and sort myself out. Then went down to checkouts and started to serve customers as though everything was ok, however the pain in my hand and wrist was about to get worse. After serving the first couple of customers, I needed to arrange the till and empty the bags of money into the till. But as I tried to open the bags the pain really kicked in and I had to get help to open them. I continued working for a couple of hours and then gave up as my hand was too painful to lift anything or perform the easest of tasks like tearing apart coupons. So I left work and headed for the walk-in centre at the hospital.

I expected the doctors to say it was just some bruising, but little did I know that the damage was more than I had expected. had actually fractured a bone inside my hand, called the scaphoid and is a bone just under the thumb.

So after waiting for just under an hour I went and had an x-ray done on my hand and yes, it looks like I may of fractured it, although the x-ray didn't detect anything. The nurse told me that there was a good chance I had fractured it as I told her the exact places for the pain and this coinsided with that of a fracture to that bone.

So consequently I have a cast on my left arm and also have it held in a sling. So not a very good day for me at all. I do not reccomend you try this as it is very painful.

UNCUT - your guide to some of the films I can't wait to see.

Okay, so this is the first of what will be a list of some of the films I have seen over the internet. My favourite source for viewing trailers is vodeo detective - here you can view old and new trailers from films from the past, present and future. Another useful website I love to visit and is full of shed loads of information is the Interactive Movie Database or in short IMDB, a website with so much information it would fry Short Circuit's CPU.

Talking of Johnny 5, if you have ever woundered who would win robot wars between Bender and Johnny 5, then just click here to find out the result.

I could never put a Top 10 of my favourite films of all time together as there are way too many to chose from, so instead I am going to give you my movie recommendations, these are films that I really did enjoy. As well as this, I shall also put together a list of Must Miss Movies to hopefully stop you going through the same pain I had too when I saw it.

Moving on to the films I just can't wait to see as this page would suggest. These are films I have seen a preview or trailer for and well frankly, can't wait to see.

The first candidate in to get my taste buds wet stars one of my favourite comedy actors, Will Ferrell, as he stars in Stranger Than Fiction, to sum this film up in 5 words, Being Hohn Malkovich - only better. Lets hope so anyway.

If like me, you remember the eighties, one film you should already know about is the live action movie which is based on the eighties cartoon Transormers. The original series which started back in 1984 kicked ass and I remember owning at least 2 of the toys, which I am still prowed of owning today!! So finally, Hollywood have decided to turn out a live action feature funnily enough called Transformers. The only problem is that we will have to wait until April 2007 to see the finished production.

Thats it for now, I will be adding to these pages as and when I find a trailer that makes me quiver with excitement and send a shiver down my spine in anticipation of the release date.

I would like to hear your opinions as well as to what you are looking foreward to and whether or not you think my highly anticipated releases are going to be worth the wait. So just reply to this page, making sure you state which film you are efering to.

Dear Blog....

Think that this entry will be short as not got much to log about. Hopefully planning a trip to London next month as if you have read my biographical bit, you will know my date of birth is 16 October 1978, so clebrating my birthday by going to London. Going to stay with a friend who works at the BBC and just do the whole tourist thing.

I consider London to be like my second home as I love to go there as often as possible. I hope to go to the 2012 Olympics when they are held in London, not to compete, just to watch. That I consider to be something I would be privaliged to watch live in person, of-course on television would also be good, but not quite the same atmosphere I guess. I hope that one day I will be a resident somewhere wthin London. It's such a wounderful place, but thasts just my opinion. I would love to see other places this country has to offer as well as other countries. Maybe when I have finished my studies I shall go travelling, maybe.

I would like to start by visiting places in Europe and then extend my travels to the rest of the world. That would be amazing to see how other people live and their cltures. I was talking to a customer today about my plans to become a teacher and how I might like to teach something like Religious Studies, because of some beliefs that these people have. Two of my favourite people I like to read and find out about are Ghandi and Anne Frank. I am not overly religious, not like I used to be, but I find myself putting parts of various religions together to form some of my beliefs. I won't go into these now, but the customer said maybe I should consider teaching history. The problem with that is you need to remember alot of dates and history isn't just about peoples beliefs and religions, it's more about dates and wars, I don't think that would interest me as much, especially not remembering dates and such things.

Anyway without boring you too much with religion and beliefs, I shall end this blog and let two avid readers of this blog have a read of my latest entry.

Enjoy Matt and Nick

I DONT LIKE MONDAYS EXCEPT BANK HOLIDAY ONES.

I really don't know why I don't like mondays, I like the song of the same title by the legendary Boomtown Rats and I don't have to wait until the weekend for another day off. So I guess that the title of this post is a bit of a white lie.

The truth is I don't really hate any day of the week, just the hours in the days I spend at work. Thats right I dont like my job very much, but then who does?

So incase you had lost count this is my second post. And I have added more to my pages. My housemate Steve is in America for two and a half weeks, seems a little weird having the house to myself. Yesterday was my 5th month anniversary of living on my own, no parents, independance, freedom and little money. I went home and stayed with my family towards the end of last week. I seem to get on better with them now than when I lived at home. Thats not to say that life was not good when I lived there, because it was. Its just even better now. More to talk about when I do go home. The good thing about going home to see them is when I do go home I am nearly guarenteed a good feed, thats one of the reasons I went back this time, due to lack of money!!!

So to sum up todays blog, I have established that everyday of the week is ok with exception to workdays, oh and parents are great too.
